Tosa East Class of 1968 (Football, Track, & Wrestling)

Residing in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, and Cudahy, Bob was twice married, and had 2 sons from his first marriage.

Bob’s life’s adventures included employment at Kramer Brass & Aluminum, Grede Foundry, Mid-City Foundry, Slinger Manufacturing, and Pelton Casteel. With a significant career change in the early 90’s, Bob became a master butcher and sausage maker, managing the meat departments at Outpost Natural Foods Cooperative. Bob first managed the department at the Capitol Drive location, then moved on to develop and manage the Wauwatosa and Bay View locations as each new store opened. He retired from Outpost Bayview in 2009, after a stroke he endured left him with permanent left-sided paralysis.

Bob’s passions included motorcycle riding, classic movies and film noir, cooking, fishing northern Wisconsin’s lakes and rivers, visual art, theatre, and music, especially the Blues. Bob created ornamental molds and castings in brass during his foundry years and also enjoyed sketching, painting, and drawing. He studied Blues harp under Milwaukee legend Jim Liban, played with Reverend Raven & The No Trim Blues Band, and later with Milwaukee Slim & The House Rockin’ Blues Review.

Bob peacefully left this world on December 24th, 2023, dearly loved by many, and ever so greatly missed.
